Jasper J. Koehorst (Ph.D. student), holds a B.Sc. in Molecular Life Sciences and a M.Sc. in Bioinformatics. He is about to obtain his Ph.D. for his research on systems biology with special emphasis on comparative genomics and functional analysis. In his research he combines Semantic Web technologies and FAIR data management strategies to identify functional properties that can lead to new bioprospecting strategies.
